The Podcast

Conversations about food, the body, and
the deeper patterns that shape our experience.

Most conversations about food and weight focus on what to eat…
how to eat…
and how to control the body.

This podcast explores something different.

The relationship between:

→ food and identity
→ the body and self-worth
→ control and connection

Because the real struggle isn’t just physical.

It’s emotional.
It’s psychological.
And often… it’s invisible.

A Different Conversation

Inside these episodes, we step outside the traditional diet-and-exercise
model and explore a different perspective.

One where:

→ your body is not the enemy
→ food is not something to fear or control
→ and change doesn’t come from force

But from understanding.

Depending on the episode, you'll find:

→ solo reflections and teachings
→ deeper dives into the Happy Calories Don’t Count® approach
→ conversations about body image, emotional eating, and cultural conditioning
→ explorations of mindset, identity, and personal transformation

Start Anywhere

There’s no “right” place to begin.

Start with whatever resonates.

And as you listen, you may begin to notice something shifting…

Not just in what you think about food…

But in how you experience your body.

When It’s Time To Put On The “Big Girl Pants”
One of the basic, fundamental principles of psychology and personal growth is that no one can “make you feel bad” without your permission. Learning to embrace your personal power is a skill set worth pursuing. Furthermore, the skills and tools necessary to heal from pain and dysfunction around food, exercise, your body and your weight are the same skills and tools necessary to claim your power and freedom in the midst of the current social, political climate. By rejecting a position of “victim-hood,” you can find your center and your power to create a body - and also a life - you truly love.
Gratitude And Other Food For Thought
Gratitude is a concept that is thrown around a lot in the self-help and personal development communities. But what does it actually mean? How does one develop an “attitude of gratitude” when faced with challenging life situations? One thing that is not helpful is to diminish the emotions and frustrations around the “problem.” Adopting the sound bite of personal and spiritual challenges being “First World Problems” does not help in healing and transforming the psychological and emotional perspectives revealed by the situations. To say “you shouldn’t feel bad because other people have it worse” is as ridiculous as saying that “you shouldn’t feel happy or grateful because other people have it better.” The fastest way to cultivate an experience of authentic gratitude in which your heart is filled with peace and joy and your “cup runneth over,” is to do the intensely personal work of personal transformation.  Allow yourself to be your authentic you. And from your authentic self, curate a relationship with your body. When you heal your relationship with your body - all of the problems and issues surrounding food, exercise and your weight are also healed.

Can You Really Use Law of Attraction To Lose Weight?

To Eat Or Not To Eat (It Really Doesn’t Matter)
What do you do when you’re at a party, they serve cake, you like cake, you want cake, but… it’s not on your diet, it’s full of sugar, it’s high carb, or you think it’s bad for you or not “worth” the calories? At this point, it doesn’t matter if you eat the cake or not - neither action will benefit you. Eating the cake will not serve you and not eating the cake will lead to the experience of “I just look at a piece of cake and I gain weight.” This episode shares techniques and tools to help you reconcile yourself so that whether you eat the cake - or not - both experiences can contribute to your highest health, vitality, well-being, beauty and joy - so that you really can “have your cake and eat it too!”
Forget The Fear & Find Freedom From Food
Whether it is controlling your body and your weight through the cultural, conventional “diet and exercise” model or trying to use the Law of Attraction to manifest your dreams, what is your real motivation? I submit that it is ultimately happiness. You only want whatever it you want because you think having it will make you happy. This is important because if the experience of creating - or maintaining - your desire is in anyway unhappy, you cannot achieve that which you ultimately desire. Creating peace and happiness can be especially challenging when motivated by fear. Fear and trauma lead to a desire to control - control yourself, control others, control outcomes. This episode illustrates how true the words of the wise Franklin D. Roosevelt really are: There Is Nothing To Fear But Fear Itself. By deconstructing spiritual and psychological principles relating to fear and manifestation, this episode offers a perspective to lead you out of fear and into creating peace and freedom and a body you love.
